So beautiful just seeing all of the easy company men reunited. The bonds that these guys had during and after the war is priceless... i hope one day i can have that kind of bond

Thank you both for your comments. Yes, it certainly is true. Update: I went to Philly in September to see my Mom. Bill happened to be home and I got to visit with him for a couple of hours. He had just gotten back from Iraq. He truly is a wonderful man, and I had a chance to thank him for the memory I described above. He got a little bashful but I did get a hug and when I left he called me BRAT just like he used to. He's one in a million!

to talk to men like them. After what i got form bill and babe I said i should be saluting you. everyone should be. they said why? we were only doing our job. When I join the VFW post, here, eav and everyone of them bought me a beer, but none of them would let me do it for them. They said it was there way of saying thanks for serving. No matter how many times I tried not one of them would let me return teh favor for them. How many people today would do the same for a total stranger? NONE

Without a doubt the greatest story ever put on film about real life hereos. I was honored to meet wild bill and babe hefron once, believe me it was a honor. They signed my book. when they noticed i was in uniform i got a little salute from bill, I dont have the words to describe how that made me feel to get one from men like them. If you want to talk to men like them stop by your local VFW post. and thank them. I did and I belong to POST 4002 I cant say what a honor it is to sit down and talk
