your australian citizenship is no basis for the claim that you know history... i was taught u.s. history, but i was never 'taught' for example that the fbi murdered fred hampton...additionally, im not personally attacking australians in any way, my comment was loosely mocking 'conventionality' in that we could have dropped nukes off the coast in the pacific and japan would have surrendered.the u.s. santioned because the u.s. wanted war with japan, they just didnt want to fire the first shot.
