i used to have a penpall from Florida and when he asked me where I lived I told him I lived in Belgium he spontaniously started talking french. He didn't know you have three different languages here and that I don't speak french but Flamish. Then he asked what town i was from, i said Ostend and he didn't know that he said oh does that really exist? really funny :p but i don't blame him:p Belgium isn't a big country so it's understandable:p PS: I want my webcam back:(

that ain't true, i was born in the netherlands and lived there for 9 years, than i moved to the states without knowing any english. After a while i learend it. So i asked people if they knew amsterdam, and they were like: ''is that an island or something'' ? I was like ... nooooo. THATS WERE I USED TO LIVE :Dbut it is true that when u say amsterdam they know it better than when u say The netherands or holland.
