I did the same & still have the vinyl. As you suggest, it's really quite lovely, with or without drugs (or the very '60s light show that accompanies this video.) This is just a bit of a piece Reilly composed that spans an entire disk. He's still around - had a concert a few days ago (Nov '08) in NYC with a bunch of fellow travelers. Did you ever payed attention listening to minimal techno? Ok this trak is not quite like it but did you ever heared this guy on a piano?? Than it really has that typical minimal techno sound/feeling in it, except for the beat that is. Really like his piano work and especially minimal techno!!
