Yes, diogo95, if not for my 76-year-old Dad, I might not be as familiar with Ennio Morricone as I am. And Morricone was also awesome. Dad looked for his soundtracks for years and finally found them. Maurice Jarre, Korngold...there are so many inspired film composers out there!

The 1960s had the best music in movies.

In 2005, the American Film Institute named the score from 'Lawrence' #3 all time after 'Gone With The Wind' at #2, and 'Star Wars' at #1.

The opening sequence to Lawrence of Arabia (the credits) is just astoundingly beautiful. Simple, humorous, and beautiful. I could watch it over and over !!

I remember seeing this on T.V. a long time ago. What a beautiful score by Maurice Jarre and a nice tribut to David Lean!
