Did he record anything earlier? Wonder if the vibrato is learned and turned on at will or if it's just the way he does all his pieces. Rejoyce from Messiah would be marvelous with this voice. You're right about the period difference affecting him if his vibrato is uncontroled. Also, Radu's rendition of this piece was in French which makes for awkward work with the vowels. French has too many rounded ones for soprano work not written specifically with them in mind, I think.

I agree with all your comments here. Consider also, however, that Radu possibly was almost 1/2 Clint's age when he recorded his French version. Also, Clint's somewhat greater vibrato works well with Classical works but possibly less well with Baroque.

It's better indeed, I agree. It sounds better than many (most even?) female sopranos.

Without doubt, one of the purest boy soprano voices I've ever heard. What a sweet timbre. I'm almost loath to hear how he sounds as a falsettist now that he's all grown up. I like his rendition better than that of Radu Marian's as a boy soprano. Never thought I'd say that.

Yes, this is one of the best trebles that I have heard: remarkable technique, fuller than usual tone, and power to spare. Too bad he magically could not have added 10 or 20 more years to providing us with beautiful treble singing.

What an amazing mastery of coloratura for someone so young. Splendid.

I can suggest you, on Youtube, Philippe Jaroussky for countertenor's sound and singer. Very good example.

My goodness!!! If I wasn't told this was sung by a boy soprano, I would have had absolutely no reason to suspect it wasn't sung by an adult female coloratura soprano. How does he do this? This is amazing! I've never heard a boy use his voice in such manner, with so much vibrato. The video description says he's now a counter-tenor. Does he still sound like this?

Yes, I have; they're great! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into posting all of your treble videos. Thanks again, and great job!
