Timmy how much knowledge you have of boxing!What Jack Dempsey's techniques are called today should not be up to you to object -- or would you like to speak for Jack Dempsey on how he would like his style called?You are a boxer (IN REAL LIFE!@!@!) so you have veto power on how the public should name things? For the record, names and nicknames of techniques are often times given by the fans/observers and not the people using them. Be greatful for the attention manga is giving boxing.

if you're going to stand for your opinion, that's fine. but don't make assumptions that i have limited knowledge of boxing in the real world, because: A. You don't know me, and B. You haven't the faintest idea of boxing history outside of what you learn from japanese animes.The Dempsey Roll is not a patented technique in boxing. It's just called bobbing and weaving. As a boxer, I have never encountered this name, whether in the real world or on TV. So, please, stop talking out of your ass.

It wasn't known as the "Dempsey roll" until late 90's when Jyoji Morikawa named it just to give the move a name for his manga.

well timmy the dempsey roll was actually made like you described, jack dempsey bobed and weaved and used the momentum from these to pull out powerful mega punches. so to this day that is known as the "dempsey roll"
