PEDAL HEAVEN: Mark & Hugh's tea break. Didnt realise this was going to be quite as popular! Music at the Beginning 'RareTea' Hopper/Hewins 2007.Canterbury Music analogue pedals. In conversation during a recording and rehearsal session Hugh Hopper and Mark Hewins go through some of the pedals still used live and on many Soft Machine classic recordings from the 70's.Hugh's ----Shaftesbury DuoFuzz; Prescription Eletronics 'FaceLift' Fuzz; Boss 'Flanger'; Coloursound WaaWaa; Boss 'Octivider'; Mark's -----RIDiNGER Associates Foxx 'FuzzWaa'Look out for part 2 of this series on ancient guitar pedal 'stomp boxes'; the Electro-Harmonix years. In the background is a small competition, (if you are into that nonsense), with a '62 JMI (copperplate) Vox AC30 head and a Fender 4X10 Blues DeVille (reissue). Errr.... Vox wins. But the Fender came quite close!Reverse Canterbury Doubles are an English 'change' bellringing method. Thankyou Herne Church Campanology group.digitalliance film, please subscribe. Hughs bass was plugged into a JMI (VOX) '62 copperplate AC30 head with a full range 1X15" 1X12" and horn cab. (Hewins' Baritone slide guitar setup)

Mark says thanks very much; he has three organs in his house/studio at the moment.1. Hammond M 100 (all valve C.1966 - with Leslie 910)2. 70's Japanese Hammond with built in Leslie and beatboxAnd the one he's playing here3. Early 80's Technics SX-U15; a gigging beauty also with built in Leslie and beatbox.Look out for more recordings soon.... Matt

Sorry to ask another ridiculous technical question, but what's the organ thing you're playing? It sounds amazing.
