When I first met my wife we use to dance to this song in the disco's . Then one day I came home from work and found a note from her saying she was going away with my best mate Dave and our marrage was over . I was absolutely gutted .You would have thought after 20 years I would have got over it but I haven't , I still miss Dave as much now as I did then . Great mate and drinking buddy ;-)

These guys aren't fakes. These are Bobby Hendricks' Drifters not the Drifters. Charlie Thomas has his group and Bobby Hendricks has his group. Bobby came before Charlie Thomas so he's legit. Since Hendricks was also a member of the Coasters he put some laughs into this performance so stop hating. This is Bobby Hendricks' Drifters!!!

That is not Bobby singing.....Bobby is the one wearing the red Jacket (bald head). Bobby was best known for his lead in Drip Drop.

vaman77788 .....I could not have written it any better myself. Having seen many, many of the ORIGINAL RnB groups back in the 50s and 60s, there is nothing--but nothing-- like the originals. "There ain't nuthin' like the REAL thang". Having been an RnB singer in the 50s I guess I look for QUALITY.......these days people just listen for noise.....whether it be 'off-key", "on-key", or dissonant as hell...
