I knew that, dylans first album was folk. He had many different styles. I call these two folk. My definition of folk is people for the people by the people.

Folk is traditional music. Anything else isn't. Therefore this is folk, but Dylan isn't. Not everything these two play is folk, they write some themselves. The fact that it's American doesn't mean it's not folk, and yes, it can be folk and country at the same time.

Tim Macgrau and stuff. It has country twang. also Todays country rock is like rock in the 70s. Bob dylan is folk right, and he used just a guitar. Just look into it for yourself. I always get mad when people call ryan adams country. |
