His dad, Loudon Wainwright III, is just as good. Check out the video for "Motel Blues." If you're young, you might like his first few albums, which he put out in the seventies. Check out albums I, II, and III on Amazon. Incredible voice and writer. Obviously a major influence on his son's work.
