Beryl is pretty old and outdated, not to mention unsupported now. I recommend everyone to switch over to Compiz Fusion, a combination of Beryl and Compiz that is supported. It is more bug free and has alot more features than compiz or beryl alone.

Yeah on beryl's website they have a ton of links. Which links do you have to download to install it?

the newest version of ubuntu lets you install it to windows just like any other program.if you don't like it you can uninstall it like another program.This type of install is not af fast as giving it it's own partition please not this only an but it's great for give a test run. Please note this only applies to ubuntu 8.04 lts

It depends If you set it to fully repartition your hard drive or just a portion... I suggest you do some research before going into this :D
