Mourners played this song at the funeral of Joe Orton. The playwright who was in the process of writing a film script for the beatles. Unfortunately he failed to complete the script as he was brutally bludgeoned to death by his boyfreind Kenneth Halliwell, whilst asleep in his bed. R.I.P Joe.

The Beatles organised a party to lend some ambience to the recording of the two orchestral "freak outs", and Super-8 footage was shot by each of the Beatles and George Martin. For a short time, they even planned to shoot footage for each track on the album (apart from "When I'm 64", "A Day In The Life" was the first track recorded for "Sgt Pepper"), but this idea was quickly abandoned. Consequently, the footage was not edited into this form until the production of "Anthology" in the 1990s.
