O my god. You figured you would have this on a teeney bopper site. Whats with the bickering. Why should it matter who came first the chicken or the egg. In the end I still eat chicken for dinner. Evanescence opened me to this style and with in temptation has joined my play list. Both equally talented bands and would love to see either live.

I like both Evanescence and within Temptation but I like WT more. I honaestly don't like when people bash a band just because they compete with one of their favorite bands. If there's a LEGITIMATE reason to dislike them aside from them competing with other popular bands (That's what happens in a BUSINESS! Competition is what keeps our economy flowing.) like a member of the group getting in serious legal trouble then fine, bash them all you like, just don't do it out of SPITE!

I'm a fan of both evanescence and Within temptation, they both are amazing bands and they both have amazing songs and voices! Does it really matter who came first? its about the music! Enjoy!

And people wonder why WT fans hate Ev fans...this is a perfect example! WT came before Evanescence. Deal with it. It may sicken your heart and soul that your beloved band wasn't the first in the genre, but no one cares. WT - 1997Ev - 2003Tyvm.

And HOW does it matter whether either band has had more impact than the other?Answer: IT DOESN'T. So how about not spamming other bands' videos, and just worshiping Ev on your own? Or just enjoy the music and ignore the drama. Sound good?
