No because only a brain damaged monkey would make a comparison like that.I'm gonna clear this up for all the dicks that keep comparing Oasis to The Beatles. The only thing they have in common is there both amazing. They dont sound anything alike, politically The Beatles where about love and peace Oasis are about sticking you're fingers up at society. Oasis main influnces are The Stone Roses, T-rex and Morresy so stop fucking comparing them to The Beatles.

You can be the first to do something,and be an influence like The Beatles. But music evolves, Oasis took what they've learned from the Beatles and others to another level.

Oasis aint commercial..which is what you gotta be inorder to get maximum exposure and more universally appealing. Plus they are VERY parochial and refused to connect with people from abroad.Look at Metallica...many of their fans claimed they sold out by becoming commercial around 1991...but the pay off was they became huge. Oasis have refused this...even Liam mocks the old stage gimmicks they used to have in mid 90's...its ok being real...but you still gotta conform somewhat.

I wouldn't say your mistaken, I mean for eample, I don't like Nickelback, but I like Hero, Remind Me, Photograph and Rockstar, I don't like them but just some songs are good.Like Green Day too, I only like 3 of their songs and think they're complete fart.I only like one White Stripes song, Seven Nation Army.I just like certain tunes/melodies, maybe the same for you.Just don't say "dumb band" or other things like that, no point, just stirs things. Share your opinion but not like that. :)
