Anritsu Company @ IEEE DySPAN 2007
Keith Nolan from CTVR at Trinity College Dublin describes how Anritsu Company's test equipment has helped him and CTVR to speed up the development of their dynamic spectrum access and cognitive radio testbed.Anritsu Company's Signature MS2781B and Spectrum Master MS2711D played integral roles in the world's first collaborative dynamic spectrum access and cognitive radio trials, carried out in conjunction with the second IEEE International symposium on New Frontiers in Dynamic Spectrum Access Networks (DySPAN). Held in Dublin, Ireland from April 17-20, DySPAN gathered 300 of the world's foremost wireless experts, many of whom participated in the trials conducted at the world-renowned Centre for Telecommunications Value-Chain Research (CTVR), headquartered at University of Dublin, Trinity College. The Commission for Communications Regulation in Ireland (ComReg) issued a trial licence to CTVR and the collaborating groups for the month of April, which enabled these parties, with CTVR as the licensee, to carry out these trials and demonstrations in the greater Dublin area.Further information is available at http://www.ieee-dyspan.comCame... work, editing, and production by Kate McKeon.
