I think I would choose the words "adds to" rather than "overshadows":-) I love Low probably even more than "Heroes", but I have some problems with Lodger. I think Lodger has very strong material, but a weak production that partly destroys its potential.

Definitely. Fripp's sound overshadows Bowie's vocals somewhat. "Heroes" is the only Berlin album I own, never got into Low and Lodger somewhow. The history behind V-2 Schneider is alos interesting. |
