I agree too. I like the original. Funkytown comes from an era before "re-mixes" -Back then we had no conception of "sound bytes", "samples" and "over dubs"

sorry, I agree though, but I think that's because the song is so typical and it's hard to change the original sound so much, people are used to hear the classic intro! A funkytown remix is either too different or too similar to the original!! :p
