I have prevented Christian gay youth, as young as 12, from committing suicide. Some tried to burn themself to death; others slit their throat; hung themself etc. They all felt abandoned by the church, God (as they were told), and some their family. One lay under his sheets for two weeks each night with his dad's shotgun in his mouth. Some youth I have reached, some not-like the 10 year old who hung himself with his belt. Why would a kid choose to be gay and then kill themself because they are

+When I think of the Ray Boltz situation, it saddens my spirit. In spite of this, God still has His hand on Ray. I pray that he'll heed the tender voice of the Holy Spirit.+As Christians, we need to remember that we're, "ALL", born in sin. When one of us falls, we need to come alongside that person as Christ commands us. I'm also reminded of the verse that speaks strongly about us judging others.+"...if any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone..."[John 8:7]

+I echo your words completely. Thanks for your honesty. I read a comment yesterday about Gary Chapman's new book, 'Love as a Way of Life', which speaks powerfully about love. +According to biblical principles, the seven characteristics of, 'Authentic Love', are: -Kindness.-Patience.-Humility.-Forgiveness.-Courtesy.-Generosity.-Honesty."Dear God, Help us to exude You in every aspect of our Christian walk, that others will experience Your love in and through us. Amen."+

Why is it that Christians are accused of hypocrisy, hate and being judgmental when they speak out about sin? If I didn't love people, I would keep quiet and just let them die in their sins, but I believe we're supposed to remind people of what the Bible says, that they might turn from their wicked ways, return to God and be saved.

The songs Ray put out are godly songs and even the lord has used them in my life . Yes I just found out that he came out to be gay and yes its wrong but lets pray for him instead of condemn .

why would you take the bible word for word may i ask you??

The truth is, it isn't. Lying, murder, adultery, stealing, etc., are all grievous sins because they affect our relationship with our Lord and Master and by extension our fellowman. I just regret that Ray has gotten caught up in the spirit of the age. I can only hope and pray that Ray returns to the Lord and repents in time.

With respect to your belief please read Luke chapt 6 verse 37-40 these are the words of Jesus himself, so how can you say that you are to judge in spiritual matters? when he says you shouldent judge at all? i am an avid reader of Gods word, I would never intentionally try to teach somone something I know is not true. With respect to your religion and belief. thank you for considering my comment.
