i think it was lack of lighting that let this down.. good though..

it doesn't seem like they r dancing to the music, but ohwell, still good none the less, just would have been better if there was more "umph"

i have to say that the six part was the best! i mean the rest was ok and the lighting sucked but i KNOW that i could never do any of that so i have to give them credit.

What I was saying was the basic elements like the intensity and not just in physical appearance, but in choreography, are lacking in other performances (big time). Here, it was smart to keep that intensity. Like the tango moves/body language. You can still be original, and they are. This is still an original piece. Nothing is truly original anyway. It's all been borrowed from something.

Oh yes, I can "complain." If we're going to be that general then you can say every Cell Block Tango performance is copied from the film. However, it's not.
magicfinpro (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
hello? r u peeps stupid or something? its obviously suppose to be copied from the movie. duh! u cant complain that they copied it too much if it was suppose to be a copy in the first place

(continued)Lighting here isn't fantastic, but it has a sexy ambience. I agree with below about originality but still keep those slick, hot moves from Bob Marshall and the parts where you're not sure what to do, throw in some original stuff and keep them sharp. |
