For years in Australia that style of GOLF was imported into Australia. But I don,t remember it being as long or wide. L@@King at the lenght and width of the bonnet I'd say any V8 engine would fit into that car.L@@Ks + sounds Hot.

The car was built ba a company called NORSTADT in Germany. My friend is one of the past owners.

Its Not by VW ther was a company who made it for them... And a V8 in normal MK1 isnt possible this 1 his nose is much longer and the car is wider and an little lower roof... only 6 of them where made... And ther is an mk1 Cabrio much wider and Much lower roof and has fast GTI in it Greetz

der 8-Zylinder passt nicht in den Golf, bei dem Auto wurde die aus mehreren normalen Golf-Karosserien gebaute Karosserie über einen Porsche 928 gestülpt, erkennbar zB an der Breite und an dem längeren hinteren Überhang. Einer von vielen genialen Artz-Umbauten, von Artz gibts unter anderem noch einen Scirocco-Kombi und eine Urquattro-Limousine.

This is an original Porsche 928 with a tailor made Golf one cabin made by a VW Dealer called Artz. Do your homework - VW haven't build any cars like this !

Its special edition of Volkswagen himself. Only a few were made with a V8....If you look good this golf is wider as the normal golf 1 gti. these are very rare.

ein fetter achtzylinder passt in einen golf 1 ? ! das ist wirklich der absolute wahnsinn.am besten noch in einen alten, gelben post-golf einbauen.
