Normally i'm more of a sucker for darker sounding archtops, but for such a bright guitar, it sounds very sweet. A nice find :]Nice playing, enjoyed it very much

hi'20 years ago, i bought asimilar model in a very bad cond' for a rebuilding project.job not complete yet, but seeing this video,realizing it is a great guitar, i think my project will now come alive' thanks to you.

I have a hofner that was made between 1960-62... very similar. Mine has a hofner humbucker pickup at the neck and the control board is a volume knob with 3 tone switchs (bass on/off, treble on/off, and lead/rythm. Yours is in pristine condition compared to mine and I had it appraised at $900-1500 US... so yurs is pro'lly worth like 2 grand or more
