I really dig this tune! One of the most beautifully, mournful, guitar riffs I ever heard.

Can't find this on iTUNES either...well unless you want the 10 years later, "live" acoustic version...

such an under-rated band, they outclass most of crap bands around these days.. and the guitar interplay at the end is amazing.. love that rickenbacker sounds..

The West Coast had KROQ, while us on the Jersey Shore had WHTG, spearheaded by Matt Pinfield. This was one of those songs that made the station what it was in the day, and still brings fond memories of growing up where I did. Too bad the station no longer exists, but my fond memories do!

Damn Straight! KROQ 106.7 allowed many, many of my generation to hear this and so many other great tunes. No better station during the 80's!! Rodney Bingenheimer, Swedish Egil, Richard Blades, even Poorman. God, how I wish for those days again. At least Egil and Blades are on Sirius Satellite now. Most music today couldn't hold a candle to 80's tunes... not even the sucky ones!!! LOL

I love this song. Not so much the groups video, though it is okay. "Metropolis along with Under the Milky way" were favorites of mine back in the day. Brings back memories. Thanks for posting this. |
