Hey Kipumege - do you know if the cue can be set to spin freely like that (without friction) on compiz-fusion in Ubuntu? Ta.

It's not free to use YouTube by your definition then? Ubuntu is free as in you don't pay a purchase fee. I think that's what most people mean.

Yes, you can use free software called Wine to run your itunes. Migrate to Ubuntu, you'll be glad you did.

hi, i'm thinking of migrating to Ubuntu. tired of Windows Vista crap and i don't have that much money to spring on a MacBook. I like the Linux platform stability but I'd like to know if it will run iTunes since i need to sync my iPod from time to time to update songs. Is this possible? Cool vid by the way.

spikespeigel = fail. saying it cost him money for ubuntu by using his bandwidth for a period of time is like saying that it's costing me money to read your posts and laugh.

from wiktionary:free2. Obtainable without payment. All drinks are freepayment then meaning2. (countable) A sum of money paid in exchange for goods or services.Nowhere in those definitions does it say that effort on the developers' part, or use of bandwidth (which is paid for with a set monthly fee nullifying bandwidth=money) makes something unfree. Also just because people do sell it doesn't mean you can't obtain it for free.

It was free for him.
spikespeigel (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
