NO, all ground weapons are designed and produced in Japan. F-15J and F-4J are designed by U.S, but produced by Japanese Mitsubishi under license. F-2(looks like F16)is designed by Japan and U.S.All ships are built by Japanese some ships were instaled U.S weapon system.

That's what I don't like about Chinese, no offense. You are still bitching about things that happened a millenia ago. You still hold grudges for events as far back as the Mongolian invasions in the 1100's. Chinese well-informed with history basically hate everyone, because practically everyone has done something to China. It's all over now. Move on, already.

Japan spends about 1% of it's annual GDP on defense, so the exact number varies from year to year. The US is not funding the SDF. In fact, Japan pays a large part of funding the US troops in Japan, ironically.
