do you guys know that debussy wrote his first book of preludes in 3 months? 12 pieces of incredible compositional depth in 3 months! amazing - the man was a genius. and this is an incredible performance, possibly my favourite prelude of them all.

stimmt, er war viel zu "cool", keine Dramatik im Ton. Insbesondere die Stelle mit der Umspielung der trillerartigen Figur - trocken im Klang und in der Emotion
