Mud, like poo, stick to your tires and weigh them down. Imagine the mud being poo instead. Then either you'd want to go fast because it stinks yet it'll be all over your interior however if you go slow you get to enjoy the veiw of poo outside your 4x4

If you going up a hill and mud ii sticky like in a film you have to accelerate as much as possible.

OH YEAH I do know that if you run as fast as you can in the mud you get STUCK you just have to run fast engouh....
