I agree with you that the bottom line is that this (rightfully) got into the public eye and that has to be due to Paul's perseverance. . And I heard that Paul has since got some flak from some parts of the Canadian public who felt he should not have exposed the Canadian police and authorities to this scrutiny and criticism. He certainly doesn't deserve that.

He made money from the footage he shot - so don't be so disengenuous. He boasted to his ex-colleagues - a language school in Shenzhen, South China about how much he made. Good Samaratinism was not his ONLY motivation - he admits to so much - at least privately.
