This scene was filmed in McCracken, Kansas. Unfortunately, the building that they are in was torn down two years ago and is now a vacant lot. The building across the street is still there.

Half the fun of this film is watching father and daughter acting together...they seem like they are having a ball.

Nehi. It's brand of soda. Grape Nehi..they changed the name of the company to RC Cola in the 50's..but nehi is still around

I know, it's a great movie. If they filmed it in color it would nothave been as good. The b&w gave it a 1930's feel, and it worked!
