Considering the band themselves clearly said that the story is meant to be about the hardships of growing up... blimey some people are so hooked they'll find drugs in anything.It's a lovely song though and I'm glad to finally have heard it, qudos to the uploader.

the song is actually about heroin, and about you're above comment drugs only abuse people who abuse them, whoever you are, if you know what you're taking and you take it in moderation you'll be fine

and for people who DO smoke pot or anything, ur probably trying to escape reality or u were peer presured. i know someone who started smoking pot in 6th grade cuz he thought it was cool. he used to be my friend and now hes in the hospital being treated and then hes being sent to a "special" hospital for teens like him. we almost started dating when he started smoking and then i said i was done. i couldn't help but cry and now ill never see him again. its amazing wat drugs can do to you. think.

everyone should really listen to this. there r 2 sides to this song. one is about jackie paper growing up and leaviving behind his imagination of child things. it wasnt until 5th grade that i noticed signs of it being about pot. people who say theres no signs... 1)his last name is paper 2)honnalee is in hawaii known for drugs 3)"puff" 4."cherry lane" is the burning piont of a ciggarette. i don't smoke ciggarettes or pot or anything and im not trying to push that its about drugs, but it is. |
