Best build ever seen so far.. super nice quality! Maybe you could make a video (10min) with different styles, jazz - rock - hip hop or whatever you want, so we may hear how it sounds? Eh.. and how much for a kit say you.. :)

Did you use a buffer chip to stop signals from wrecking the Pocket PC?

Could this technology lead to improvements in speaker quality? If so, how? This is very interesting. I would love to be there and see it.

Just for note: a kiloWatt-hour is a unit of energy, not power. 1 kW-hour = 3.6E6 Joules.

Let's talk high-end.. What's the potential for some competition with Sonus Faber?

Brilliant! I have heard about such plasma drivers going back to 1970s (Hill Plasmatronics that required a cylinder of helium) and seen material on them, but never actually seen one play. Thank you for your efforts and sharing them. A real eye opener!Still I hear static charge sound, which may interfere with the music at quiet intervals, something I wondered about before I saw this. I impressed nonetheless, technically this could be the most transparent transducer around.

You might be able to put an internal ventilation system in, though it would need some sort of filter. |
