The tune to the song "Indonesie,Ik Hou Van Jou" is the same as the tune to the song "Rayuan Pulau Kelapa".Only the lyrics are changed.While The Netherlands has:"Indonesie,Ik Hou Van Jou...",Indonesia has:"Tanah Airku Indonesia...".It is the same as the malay-Indo fight between the song:"Rasa Sayange".

her nationality is dutch but she is of malaysian heritage. when holland had territories around the world they acquired many ethnicities in their population. so therefore she is big in the far east as well. she also recorded in her "native" languages.

concerning dutch songs,could anyone tell me singer &name of the dutch version of "tender years",released in the 60`s?When i was younger i heard it in the Netherland.Spiegelbild?I would like to listen once again.

Anneke is very much alive and working. She just did a big anniversary concert in The Hague and will be shooting a feature film this summer. Anneke was the first Dutch teen idol in the early sixties and has been an A-list performer over here ever since. Her nationality is Dutch. |
