Still a great band no matter the name... They stayed true their music and it is some of the best out there. Every album has a great song if not many. The name The Church was a mistake.... hard for me to show others because of the stigma. As for this vid in a church.. yea kind of strange.. but marketing does not alway go as planned. Someone thought it would be a good idea. Sure like the name.. it was not.

Absolutely cheesey, candles and all. I reckon they regreted the name "The Church" for a long time, but then they tried to capitalize on the ooey mystery of it. But at this interview, OMG I'm sure they thought this was ridiculous.

I really liked Steve's answer towards the end about taking song lyrics for what they are. Totally agree with his view on that point.
