If you want to find out what kind of motherboard you have, you can go to Start>All programs>Accessories>System tools> System Information. It should be listed in there somewhere. Or you can type in the model number of the computer you have into a search engine and see if any sites lists the motherboard you have. Or you could just open up the case and look for the model number on the motherboard.

use the program CPUZ to find out all the info on your computer, google it and pick the first one, it tells you everything you need to know to buy a compatible CPU/video card/sound card anything basically.

Your athlon64 3500 is compatiable to am2 and am2+By the way , your porcessor is really old. Try change it.

am2 and am2+ are two different motherboard. idk which 1 my motherboard is and i dont know where to check it. can u help me out. my processor is amd 64 athlon. window vista. is also say 3500+ on the processor sticker.
