I saw her about four years ago in an intimate sort of caberet/club setting. She was really, really wonderful, and her voice was as good as you hear it here. She has a strange face, but the overall impression she gives in her live performance is a powerful strange beauty and she is extremely graceful. I always loved her recordings but these days you get used to live performances not being as good---hers was very, very good.
