I love her singing voice, and while I'm very familiar with the song, this is the first time I've seen her perform this song. I guess I get a different impression listening vs. watching her sing.

I've heard that Karen hated to be in the limelight and always preferred to be behind her drumset. What a voice. It's timeless.

i just watched the carpenters biography, where they say, the carpenters needed an second song to release after their first big hit 'close to you' and they chose this song after watching the commercial on tv. |
