My grandfather was in the Wehrmacht. He told me that many Dutch people worked together with the Drittes Reich, I know you deny that fact but thats true. Some Dutch people even have decided to join the Wehrmacht to fight communism in the Barbarossa campaign. My grandfather told me everything even that he faught side by side with many Europeans. The Nazis were close to World Domination these days, France lost, Sowjetunion and Great Britain both were close to defeat.

Because the Germans wished to protect their right flank!They feared an English counter attack on their right flank so they figured out that it would be best to occupy Holland to deny England access from that direction.

I read about the Invasion on Holland and i heard the Dutch fought with fanatical anger in the streets.One of the descriptions was very awesome: "A dutch 17 year old soldier shoot a German that had a fire thrower. Then he grabbed it in the air, ran forward and Murdered(yes it was such pwnage that the term "Murder" was used) a group of German soldiers".
