check out the video where Fred appeared on the Garry Moore show "I've Got a Secret". Fred's secret was he waa going to play the drums while Garry danced. Fred could play the drums like a pro. He also played the piano.

The clip in "Rain Man" is their romantic dance to "They Can't Take That Away from Me," from this same movie. Did you know, rpm, that Fred Astaire's grandson is a percussionist? Search for "John Astaire" to see his work. At one point he tosses his sticks in a very Fredlike way!

WOW!! As a drummer,been looking for this(is this the clip that showed in Rainman?)! Love the "swing" drum licks! However,it's the dancing that has completely knocked me out!! Never saw any of these old musical/dance movies ('til some recent clips). I always loved tap, and this is why!Ginger Rogers is breathtaking (Now I see what I've been missing). Can't stop playing this!! Thanks for the clip!
