One payer system is the only way to go. Private health insurance is a private tyranny that only exists in United States. It's a rather barbaric system that tells you you're health is only worth what you can afford.People in United States should get behind, and support, HR 676. If you don't know what it is learn about it! GM & Ford are going bankrupt because of the rising cost of health care. If United States had single-payer system, the companies wouldn't have to worry about it.

How many of you are veterans or know a veteran that has ever been to a V.A. hospital? What did you think of the quality of the care they got there? Is that what you really want all hospitals to be like?

A government that gives everything to you can take everything from you. Socialist policies leave no power to the individual. Also, I exercise daily, work 60 hours a week to make the living I do, and abstain from cigarettes and alcohol. You're telling me that 95% of the population is going to get a tax cut and I'm going to hit a glass ceiling of 250k a year in income so I can pay for their poor choices and genetic misfortune? This country is sliding towards zero accountability for individuals.

there is no abusing anything. it is your right as a human being to get free health care for anything from a pimple on your face to open brain surgery. a number of countries cover not only all their citizens, but every single human being in their country for any medical attention they want. it is our right to be treated. I don't know what all of these people's plans are, but what I do know is that I want health care for every single human going in my country. and of course it is possible.

If obama offers me health care with my employer or with his plan, and health care providers can't turn me down, I won't get healthcare until I seriously need it. And when my condition goes away, I will cancel it. People WILL abuse this system, and I will be the first, because its bullshit.
