Well, it is called Heckture, yes religious Jews WON"T eat the food unless it has been supervised. Yes it cost companies money to put this mark on a package. nobody makes companies do that. Simply a lot of Jews, means a lot of profit. We live in capitalistic world, so companies want more consumers to buy their products. So what! Vegans, Muslims, Diabetics also have some sort of mark on products, so they can identify the food they can eat according to their customs or believes.

What utter paranoia. There's a kosher tax to pay for the inspection of kosher food. If you don't want to pay this tax, then don't eat kosher food, at which point you pay a non-kosher tax on non-kosher food.What a load of drivel.

I have "NO" problem, if the Jews want to pay a tax for kosher food.I "DO" have a problem, if "I" have to pay a tax so that the Jews can have kosher food.

Is this "tax" a per unit charge? Even an inspection fee charged by gentile government health inspectors can be considered a "tax".
