I don't think Apple is the best example of that, but I get your point. I suppose it happens with anyone who gets onto MTV, because, lets face it: if you're selling your CDs out of your trunk you def can't pay for the production costs of a music video.

Yeah, I can see how it'd be hard to dance to a song about poverty.

They are celebrating anything special. it is just part of the entertainment game. No man want to listen to how many kids die of hunger or world corruption's in a club! These rappers know their audiences, sadly, many of them have become sell out and do not last more than one album!

its called a signing bonus. record labels fight over artists so they offer them huggge signing bonus's and ludacris is kinda a fucking cash camel. like shit alllll trip plat or better? kinda ridiculous but yeah. and these rappers idc how long they been in the game still aint makin big money not big money like corporation big. i mean shit even steve jobs prob has more money then any rapper and apple is a pretty small company.

i've always wondered how a lot of these rappers have singles on their first major album celebrating that exorbitant lifestyle of a successful rapper. Don't get me wrong, I like the songs, it just seems that they'd at least need to wait before their first album sells anything before they start rapping about how much money they make.
