I have an AMD CPU - My computer just shuts down if the CPU gets to around 69C and my computer gives me warnings when nearing the threshold. A problem a 25 inch fan can easily solve in a 34C+ climate.

I have run AMD and Intel PCs and I have to say that Intel is of better quality, I have a pentium 2 PC that still runs from nine years ago second hand and the motherboard was also Intel made, still works perfect!My old computer before I got this one had an AMD athlon that blew after three years in service but the motherboard survived and I had to replace it. Intel is better quality but expensive although AMDs are cheap and cheerful, but I won't be buying AMD anytime soon now!

Pointless!!! Of course Intel are better but your paying £££ for it!! All you INTEL sheep need to get a grip!!! The only people who complain about AMD are peeps who run Intel. Go figure??

intel is better no doubt but AMD is crucial to the survival of gamers. Imagine if AMD went bankrupt, intel would have no competitors at all! they could sell all their processors 10 times more expensive if they want
