i sang this song in the school choir many years ago- did not know untill now that it was from a film. Where i have been? Does put a different perpective on the word 'daddy' when you see this footage !

Love this song! What ya dont see is afterwards sammy talks about the dangers marijuana to everybody there and he says something like..."Dont touch that weed, it messes with your head, and IT... IS... EXPENSIVE!" lol

Look there was more to the 60's than just drugs. And they were a part of the American culture. They brought forth change, opened the eyes of many to conformity, and produced great music. We still revere our forefathers for all they've done for our country as long as we overlook the fact that many of them enslaved hundreds of thousands in servitude, snubbed many because of their lineage, and killed/deprived many on account of Manifest Destiny.
