hold cats by the scruff like that also engages a reflex-they then tuck in theyre back legs, like they're curling up a bit,so that there a bit more compact to carry! but...oh my gosh! that kitten is so adorable!

wow...shows how much some ppl know. its painless, however mommy didnt right away grab the right part lol she went for the face first, had her mouth around half its face with one ear, but she righted herself quickly. cute vid=)

yes...im sorry im from romania i cant express my self corectly...yes the skin...that is why you should NOT..try that with a grown cat cuz they are to heavy and that will hurt them...but with cubs/pups/kittens..its a way of transportation...

Thats how cats and tigers carry the cubs/kittens cuz they dont have hands, it doesnt hurt cuz there is extra skin there and the mom doesnt use her teeth. I do it to my cat sometimes when she goes berserk.
