For all those who are saying Leona butchered this song~ I'd love to see you try & sing that song.. post your version on the Youtube.Love her or hate her.. Leona is making England look very good indeed! Lisa Stansfield also put England on the Map for good Female singers... Loved her too!!

I don't know how people can say that she butchered the song or it was her weakest performance. It was outstanding and that last note sends shivers down my spine everytime I listen to this performance. So proud that she is British! She's doing us proud. x

Hi ivona94. "Over the Rainbow" (mistakenly known as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow") is a popular song with music by Harold Arlen and lyrics by E.Y. Harburg. It was written for the 1939 movie "The Wizard of Oz" and it became Judy Garland's signature song.

Simon said that was the best performance he'd ever seen? WTF??? That was probably Leona's weakest X Factor performance I've seen... It was still great, but the vibrato way way too slow and threw off the song and she was slightly pitchy at times.

Mmkay people, everyone is talking about who sings this song better.Leona Lewis sang it by putting all of her soul into it,and I love it.But no one has mentioned Judy Garland's version of this song which was the original, from the Wizard Of Oz;I'm surpirsed because she sang it beautifully. |
