yes maby get a little bit more ram but this could go smooth on very highmaby google a bit for the crysis triple packit basicly optimises crysis for your pcand if it stuters a little yust lower the resolution a bit

currently, £1 = $1.86 US, so the 4870 would set you back $316, and the 4870X2 would be $633. may vary over there tho, thats just my price converted at ur exchange rate.as for fps i cant accurately say, but i have an 8800GTX and its nowhere near as good as the new 4870, and i can have everything at high, 1680*1050 2xAA @25fps while running a virus scan and a 2nd screen. if you had a 4870 in place of my 8800GTX id expect high 30s or more. i have vista and get all vHigh, 1440*900 2xAA @ ~20fps.

so how much $ is that cus i dont kno that currency, and how much fps will that graphics card give me on crysis for everything high(not very high cus i dont want vista, and its the worst)

well for a start, look away from nvidia (didnt think id hear myself say that anytime soon, but hey its happened, and its defo for the better!)look at ATIs new 4800 range, the 4870 is around £170, and it rapes the arse off nvidias new 280 chip, which costs £290+ !!if you can afford it tho, the 4870x2 is the best gfx card on the planet just now, however they are £340.in comparison, 8600 and 9200 are pathetic (£40), even with everything else in the system top spec, wudnt do crysis @ very high |
