I'm Chinese and I am absolutely NOT offended when she makes jokes about Asians. I love jokes about race (as opposed to racist jokes), religion, and the such. Just because Sarah has the balls to come up on stage in front of thousands, if not millions of people and poke fun (and unveil truth at the same time) at these controversial issues, does not mean that she is ignorant or out-of-touch about these issues. If you've never laughed at an ethnic joke before, then you've never lived. Really.

Well I think she's a smart comic,and I really liked the Sarah Silverman program, including the ethnic jokes. But what I heard on her "Jesus is Magic" DVD made me just sad and disappointed.I think she has some race-related issues that she's not owning up to. 90% of the show is ethnic jokes.The final one being "once when in my performance I said all Mexicans smell,a Mexican woman came to me and said "I don't stink".But I didn't explain to her about how we,like,can't smell ourselves.."That's racist

This is not the original joke.The original joke (see Niteline interview) was: I was filling out a jury duty form.I didn't want to do jury duty,and my friend suggested I write something racist,like "I hate niggers". But I don't want people to think I'm racist,so I wrote "I like niggers". She changed nigger to chink on tv because she was told to, and during performance because she was "afraid of the blacks in the audience" (quote from Jesus is Magic). Now how is this not racist. :/
