Celine has never stopped touching my heart with this song. Is there another diva who can match Celine's singing?

you are correct, i realized my mistake shortly after, but didn't feel like correcting myself.

No. Jim Steinman wrote the song. Pandora's Box performed it first.

my mom listened to this song a lot when i was 7. she also listened to meat loafs version, i think celine sings it better. i dont know why though. she sings with more power i guess.

Desmond Child wrote the song for Meat Loaf, but couldn't find the right woman to go along with his tenor voice, so he let Celine Dion sing it. Then when Child discovered Marion Raven he had Meat Loaf perform it several years after he had originally intended.

This song really hits a chord. It's so sad, yet precious at the same time because it shows you that memories and love will always last. The video makes it seem lonely, especially with only her living in that big house. |
