actually you have to have a certain amount of popularity to go to japan, b/c there's a demand for korean stars. but it's true that many krn artists debut in japan. most of the time they just release a jap mv and single and dont do any activities there. but some artists who want to get a firm base there stay there for awhile, like dbsk, ss501, boa they're all super popular.
