the concept is a fairly simple one, but used creatively =).every object (and also every material) has a natural resonance, and if you were to cause vibrations at the right frequency for a specific object or material, it would resonate. it works with everything. easy example would be to sing next to a wine glass and sooner or later you'll find a note which makes the glass ring for a second or two. that's harmonic resonance.in this video, the cornstarch is doing just that.
